Kia EV3 Charging & Powertrain
The Kia EV3 is powered by a single electric motor driving the front wheels. This electric motor delivers 201 horsepower and 209 lb-ft of torque. It can be your go-to vehicle for everyday drives and long-distance travel. The car accelerates to 60 mph in just 7.5 seconds. Kia's iPedal 3.0 makes driving with only one pedal possible. Accelerate for normal driving, then brake by lifting your foot. The process allows the battery to regenerate some of the power that was recently used.
The EV3 comes with battery options of 58.3 kWh and 81.4 kWh, plus a high-tech 400-volt charging system. Charging from 10% to 80% takes approximately 30 minutes with a DC Fast Charger. The EV3 can also power a refrigerator during a power outage via car-to-grid charging.
